I have picked up 17 so far this year. Almost all of mine have been good sized and fresh. I have just been lucky this year.

Here is the picture I posted before with the set. This was my first encounter with this buck 3 years ago. He is a nice 3 point. He does not grow much in size but seems to get heavier every year.

I will admit that there is more to the "luck" than you may think. I would rather be lucky than good anyday.

That's exactly what I think too! I think alot of it is lucking out some days. I can't tell you how many times I wished I wouldve gone left instead of right, or up instead of down!

I have stood and wondered which way to turn many times. I have always wondered how many sheds I have walked right by without knowing they were there. I know it happens a lot because when I return to an area I always find some I missed last year. ](*,)
