southeastern Utah question

This isn't exactly a hunting question but here goes-I will be travelling to AZ to hunt elk in mid-November. I am going to try driving halfway there (from Grand Junction,CO) after work one night and go the rest of the way the next morning. Can anyone tell me if there are decent places to pull off the road to sack out overnight in the Bluff/Blanding/Mexican Hat area. Given the price of gas, I'm trying to cut costs any way I can, so don't want to stay in a motel. Any thoughts? I'll just want to sack out in the back of my truck or pitch a small tent.

I don't really know that area to well. But having been near there on a couple of occasions...I would say there should be plenty of places to "crash" for a night. Those towns are all small and there is plenty of side roads, mountains, etc to find a spot to pitch a tent I would imagine.
I can't help you on specific areas or details, but I don't think you should have to much trouble.
Let me know if u find anything out if i rember right there are a few small lakes that u can sleep at what part are u going to be hunting in?
I'm not hunting in that area, I'm just passing through on my way to Flagstaff and that area is about halfway. I have to work the day I'm leaving for AZ so just need a good spot to go ten toes up overnight.
