How's the deer herd looking down there? I'll b hunting down there this year by Richfield and elsinor I belive the area is call phvont. Just wondering if anyone has seen some bucks? And if it was a hard winter planning on going down there here in a month or so.

Yeah thats all we need down here, more people no deer. went up last sunday seen 5 deer and 3 of em were in city limits. pretty crappy but that doesnt seem to stop everyone up there from shooting all the babies!

Must be in a different area then I am on. I went up there last weekend I saw 85 deer in 2 days while playing on the wheelers and there isn't many people up there either. Well there hasn't been since I've been hunting. Already got my big boy picked out :) he's a freak

exactly why did you ask? I must not know anything about this place down here even though i've lived here my whole life, I guess i've just been pissin away the years of going up and learning everything I can. Guess I shoulda asked an 801'er where I should be lookin, My bad. Good luck you seem to have it all figured out... :thumb

it isnt looking to good down there deer herds are vanishing and the DWR keeps giving an outrageous number of tags. i was going to be hunting down there but decided not to due to my conclusion on my scouting.

 and u have to be a EDITED why?? did i once insult u or say anything negative towards u? hmm dont think so i simple stated u must be in a different unit. and its not like u own the mountain to say who or how many ppl go up there. whats ur problem?
