Southern Varmints

I'm new to the board and impressed by some of the pics I've seen. Here are some pics of some of our varmints. Sorry we don't have any nice landscapes - just swamps and whale-wallers. :)

There is no such thing as free lunch on my place. :)

No age discrimination either.

Probably best shot in a long time. This one was running flat out and I took him at over 100 yards on the draw. Probably luck but who knows.

Could probably feed the homeless with a few more days like this.

We had a feast on them. Made pulled bbq and hog head stew. Gave piles of it away. They were all corn and peanut fed and did quite a bit of damage to the crops. We caught them in a small field and called some friends in. Worked out perfect cause we were able to get three strings of dogs on them. It was a perfect strategy. Once we let the first string on their tail we flanked them with two more strings and this pushed them into an open 300 acre corn field and from there it sounded like a dove field with all the shooting.

Here is a pot of stew.
