Think he is still alive also, word is he should have been dead but was recently 'missed'.

I've been trying to keep up on the news regarding the spider bull and thus far it seems as if he has managed to elude the "circus" that is pursueing him. I also heard that someone just missed him...then again, I also was told that he was harvested by a disabled hunter about two weeks ago...but that turned out to be a false report.

Myself, I hope he manages to make it through the season. With all the hysteria surrounding this bull and the sheer number of folks with plans to harvest him I would love to see him outsmart them all.

The second best outcome....a MuleyMadness member manages to be the lucky hunter that takes him home and we all get a "first look" at this magnificant bull!

He was missed by a guy guided by mossback, he has the goveners tag and missed the bull at 190yds with a rifle.

LOL....I would probably be shaking a bit too if I had that bull in front on me!

Man, I hope some "every day hunter" that puts his work and efforts into this hunt ends up being the lucky hunter! I have no issues with Gov'rs tags or guided hunts but it would be nice to see someone beat the mossback crew to the bull for a change.

I always have been a sucker for the underdog!

Glad to hear he's still out there kickin' up dust. I have nothing against him being harvested, but with all of the commotion and hype surrounding him it's nice to see that he's giving everyone a run for their money.

I agree that it would be awesome to see a fellow Muley Madness member take him, but personally i'd love to see him outsmart every hunter on that mountain and see what he looks like next year. Not very likely, but he seems to be doing a pretty good job of it so far.

Chances are that if the hunter took the shot then the guide won't lose any money. The guide can't be responable for the shooting of their clients.

I agree that it would great if a DIY hunter got this animal.

That is to bad that someone with so many trophys under his name took him. I was hopeing that someone with no toad under his name would have taken him.

Congrats to Denny on a fine bull, but it would have been better in my opinion if some joe shmo would have been the lucky hunter.

The mountain has lost some of its allure now that we all know he is gone. I'm sure that Team Mossback will find his big cousin' centipede' and start the whole thing over next year!!!!!
