Here is a pic I was sent, said it was taken from my home state Iowa. thought the caption was pretty funny too. all it said was "Spring is ALMOST here! We have started to see the deer moving around."

Not good at all. Hopefully spring does come to that area sooner than later or there wont be any deer left.

yeah, if it came from the area that they said in the email the deer will be alright. the farmer who owns that land goes out with his tractor to clear out "feeding areas" and then uses his chopper to drop hay for his cows when the feed is getting low / snow getting that high. there are a lot of deer that migrate over there during the winter because of that. usually turns out some pretty "healthy" (fat) deer every year.
