Summer Growth pics - lets see em!

Well slow start this summer for me, been doing summer school...oh the joys it's been a while. :)

But finally got out for 1 quick evening Sat. night and found a couple of decent bucks, both look to be 4-points (bigger one on left).

Nice pictures!
I would post pictures if I was that close to the bucks but all the bucks I have seen are over 1,000 yards away and a little to far for the camera.

I love this time of year! just got a new camera myself hope to post some pics soon. When Brett starts posting pics you know archery season is really close. =D>

This could have turned into a half decent buck but he got hit on Sunday afternoon. Hate to see them when they go this way! We were going over to my inlaws and he wasn't there on the way but on the way back we saw him so I went back the next day and snapped some pictures and he was crawling with so many maggots already. One less buck in my region dang it!!

saw two bucks that had been hit on my trip out to slc this weekend, one would have been a 3pt with a lot of mass but not much else (may have grown more), one was already a good sized 4 point, sad to see two bucks that i wouldnt hesitate to shoot get put down.....

went last night and looked all over and only saw about 15 deer none buck. i say we went maybe 15-20 miles total. i tell you the dwr really messed it up in the norther region letting so many antlerless tags go.

Went out this morning (July 4th) and found a total of 20 bucks. My archery season starts August 1 so regardless to say I was like a kid at Christmas after i saw all these nice bucks that I get to hunt in 27 days. Sure looks like the moisture helped out with the horn growth in Nevada. Hopefully the other states are doing just as good.
