TC ENCORE?

Is anyone using the 209x50 Muzzleloader?
And what loads are working for you?

(Im using 300gr SST-ML and 150gr of Pyrodex pellets and Winchester Triple Seven 209 primers) shooting four inch groups out to 250.

I may be buying one in the near future , so if i come up with a good load i will let you know. I will probably try the crush ribbed sabots and a xtp 300 grain bullet and 90 grains of ffg loose powder and see what happens.

I'm actually planning to buy an Encore myself this fall. I'm torn, though, between the original Encore and the Pro Hunter. What do you guys think?

If you are questioning which one to get as far as an encore, let me help: PRO-HUNTER!!

For a few various reason I could list when I have a little more time.

Good Luck!

I actually like the looks of the Encore over the pro hunter . I don't want it to be to fancy . That's why i went with the black stock and the stainless steel . I almost got the blued and black one but thought i would have less trouble with rust with the stainless . I think any Encore would be a great choice.

I shot my Encore yesterday and my shots were all over the place . So i inspected my gun and noticed the rear stock was very ,very LOOSE. I could not even get a 10' group . So i went home tightened the stock and went out this morning and shot 6 shots at 50 yards . Got rained out and so will go again this afternoon and raise my group up about 2 inches . I am very impressed with my Encore. :thumb I am shooting the same loads that i used in my Traditions , 100 grains of loose ffg , 300 grain XTP HP and Klean bore primers . I used Windex on the two wet patches ( both sides ) and then used a dry patch ( both sides ) after each shot.
