Yeah lots of dirt and salt.

Can you be more specific? The terrain varies greatly....

Close to the Idaho and Nevada corner area has mixed terrain and woody vegetation changes with increase in elevation.

There are two types of terrain in Utah.

Rough and rougher! :)

Seriously (spell) I have only driven through Utah. Saw some monster dust devils along the high way. They looked like tornadoes. Counted 6 in a 3 mile stretch. Looked like some pretty country though.

One of these days I will win the lottery and be able to hunt where ever I want. Utah is on the list.

More specific? Not sure I believe it is in the grouse creek area? Maybe around Lynn? I have tried to google it but that hasn't worked real well for me. I used to be stationed out in California and saw a lot of different terrain out there. But I have no idea what to expect in Utah. I have seen some pictures from the southern area around Mohab that looked like open desert?

Grouse Creek area compared to the Moab desert region is quite a bit different. The Grouse Creek area will have sagebrush draws in the lower elevations with mixed stands of oakbrush and aspens the higher you go. Moab desert that I'm thinking of is red dirt, lots of rocks and cliffs and cottonwoods and willows along the river.
