I would definatly get a drop away rest. I use the one made by Cobra. I also like the Cobra sights. I would also suggest looking into a NO-PEEP by Timberland Archery.

There are so many to choose from. The best site I have ever used is the Spott Hog Hog-It hunter with a 7 pin housing. Once you get the site close the windage and elevation are easily adjustable, it is solid metal including pin housing has a bubble level for steep terrain w/ a verticle wire and has 3rd axis adjustment to get competely dialed in. The fiber optics are very bright with the .029's but need to be changed yearly to keep them that way as they all tend to fade from uv's.
Rests , I have narrowed my opinions down to 2. My personal favorite and the one I am shooting on my hunting bow is a Trophy Ridge Drop Zone fall away. I love this rest and have had 0 problems in 4 years. I have hunted in the rain forests of WA and in -5 degree late winter hunts with no issues. No freezing or rusting. This is a fall away with a cord attatched to yourdownstring as you pull back the arm raises, when you release it falls awayquickly as it is spring loaded making no fletch contact. The other I have used is the Trophy Taker Shakey Hunter and I believe this is the most user freindly fall away on the market. Again these are my opinions and I am not saying they are any better than other products just products I have had good sucess with.

Last year i purchased a new bow.

Put a drop away rest on it, they are the only way to go. I have a f22 sight. I also got a alpine archer soft lock quiver. Love it, it has a hard/soft plastive mounting bracket that lets you take your quiver on and off quickly and quietly. Also acts as a noise dampaner. Light weight and inexpensive.

Good luck and let us know what you choose.

I strongly recommend the Muzzy Zero Effect drop away rest and Black Gold Flashpoint sight, it's the brightest on the market. :arrow

IF YOU HAVE PRODUCTS ON YOUR OLD BOW THAT HAVE SERVED YOU WELL, THEN MORE THAN LIKELY THEY WILL CONTINUE SERVING YOU WELL ON YOUR NEW BOW. STICKING WITH THE SAME, YOU WILL ALSO HAVE A BACK UP IF NEEDED. THAT IS IF YOU KEEP YOUR OLD BOW. NOTHING LIKE HAVING A SPARE BACK AT CAMP IF SOMETHING SHOULD HAPPEN IN FIELD. JUST MORE FOOD FOR THOUGHT.

......IF IT AIN'T BROKE, DOEN'T FIX IT!!
