this sucks

man im jealous ive wnet out a little but havent had a lot of time and every where i go a million others are at or have been. places i tohught no one knew about. well i hopefully will get out tommorow and find some. ive got one more place to try before im discouraged with deer. then im off to find some elk sheds which i think ill have better luck at, ihope

I thought you couldn't hunt sheds until May 1st in Utah? That's what another post was all about. Did they change it? Seems like an awful lot of folks are hunting right now in Utah. Just curious, that's all.

but ya i got some private property that i just got permission to hunt on were theres some monsters. i might go out saturday and see if i can find any

Yes only in the NORTHERN region, so 1 out of the 5 regions in the state.

I'm afraid it will go statewide before long though.

bigbuck92, are you in the Northern region? The reason I am asking is that the notice about shed hunting specifically stated that it was illegal to hunt in that particular region until May 01st, regardless of whether or not it was private or public land. No shed hunting whatsoever until the 1st.

I read in the Salt Lake Tribune a story about a property owner that couldn't even hunt sheds on their own property. I do however agree with MuleyMadness it's a ZOO out there. I see a statewide season soon it's probably for the best.
