Time frame for UDOW to post draw results?

I know the website says April 29... but do they ever post them early?

Watch for it on your credit card statement. You might find out a little early that way.

+1, usually you will get an email or letter in mail a little before that date, but not to early.

Speaking of making a mistake. I applied for a special turkey hunt in KS and I got an e-mail from them a couple of days ago saying that I was one of the lucky winners. The next three e-mails were from the same person in KS saying that they made a mistake. They took the list of losers and sent them all e-mails and told them they had gotten drawn. I'm hoping that this doesn't happen on my UT LE elk hunt. Talk about making someone have a bad day!!!!

The ones that draw Utah permits should see hits on their credit cards April 12-15th..

It's weird on every tag that I have got I've never had them pull the money until after I have gotten my draw results. General season or limited entry they both come out after.

The drawings are held in a certain order. The following is from the guide book.

Drawing process
Utah Admin. Rule R657-62-17
Big game permits are drawn in the following order:
First—buck deer (premium limited-• entry, limited-entry, CWMU and management buck deer)
Second—bull elk (premium limited-• entry, limited-entry and CWMU)
Third—buck pronghorn (limited-• entry and CWMU)
Fourth—once-in-a-lifetime•
Fifth—youth general buck deer•
Sixth—general buck deer and • general buck/bull combination
Last—youth any bull elk•
Because of the order in which permits are drawn, you won’t be included in the drawing for a once-in-a-lifetime permit if you draw any of the following permits:
Buck deer (limited-entry, premium • limited-entry, CWMU or management buck deer)
Bull elk (limited-entry, premium • limited-entry or CWMU)
Buck pronghorn (limited-entry
• or CWMU)

It seems to me that the state wanting their (our) money as quickly as they can get their hands on it would bill our cards as soon as we're drawn. That means that the hits for LE buck deer would hit first followed by species in the order listed above.

Does anybody know if there are a couple of days separating the draws between species/hunt types?
