Tipping

Going on a drop camp hunt in 2010. I,ve never used an outfitter for hunting before. It's a 7 day hunt, one day to ride up, one day down and five days to hunt. One hunter(myself) and two campers in my party. They will leave one horse for each person, the cook and one pack animal.
Anyway the cook will be doing all the meals and taking care of the animals when they are in camp.
I have know idea how to tip the guy or girl and the last thing I want to do is piss off the cook.
Would I tip daiyly or the last day before they comeback and take us down. What would they exspect or what is average. Any camp edicit to follow other than getting firewood and helping with the dishes. Any advice would be helpful. Thanks.

are hunters usually would tip at the end of the hunt, and i would say $200-$300 dollers was average for the cook.for each hunter, i dont know really about guests? provided they do a great job for you. but it is based on performance. if they are lazy and you have to wake them up each morning for breakfast, make your own lunch. a simple hand shake at the end would fit the bill.
