To Hunt or not to Hunt

are you going full force this coming season inspite of the CWD
stats for last year show lots of tags left over

I guess it depends on how bad CWD has been in your hunting area. As for me none found yet. So yep, ALL OUT! :D

I agree MuleyMadness, thus far no CWD has been found in either of my areas so I'm all out! Of course, that would probably change if CDW rears it's ugly head.

All out no cwd reported here yet either so my son and I are out for it all his first year for deer and elk so should be fun.

oh it's all out of course we havent been hit reall bad in Utah with cwd and theres checking stand for your deer anyway when you do get one so im gonna hit this huntin season all out like i always do

I always hunt he same. When I have an animal down, either deer or elk, I have the head tested even if its not required in Colorado, Wisconsin and Minnesota where I hunt Muleys, Elk and Whitetail.

My wife is a chemist and also lived in Europe around the timeframe of mad cow. She is convinced its different but simular. She also feels it will someday find its way in humans like mad cow has. Which means in my household we wouldn't consume CWD meat. My family sleeps better knowing the animal tested ok. I don't know what I would do if the animal tested positive......I would have to think about donating the meat.

Hunt hard and sleep fast......
