Tooth data Info!

So I got the tooth data back on my Bull. Take a guess on the age!

For those that don't know, this was a Wasatch Early rifle elk hunt, I hunted my arse off the whole hunt and on the last day I was able to hunt (day before the last day of the hunt) I decided that I was going to eat elk meat and not paper. This guy showed up and the hammer was droped. I saw bigger and passed on them, and I missed and awsome 6X7 that to this day haunts my dreams.

Well I figured that he was going to go 4-5 years old, and they said when I called today that it was a reliable 4 year old class bull.

And let me just say, he sure does taste alot better than a piece of paper would have had I gone empty handed like so many others that I know did last year.

I was really surprised by the results I got. I was also thinking it would be 6 or maybe 7 but he told me the results came back and it was a reliable age of 9 years.

Good to know I no nothing when it comes to aging elk. Nice bull. I know how you feel about passing on bigger animals than you harvest. He looks delicious way tastier than tag soup. Congrats on your good luck .
