thats awsome! i bought the eXtrema 2 as soon as they came out with there Kick off recoil system, i've had it for 2 yrs now [ 2 duck seasons, about 1 yr and 3-4 months] and have had no problems at all. and i'm not a guy that cleans his guns after every use- infact it's lucky to get a cleaning during the season at all. i give it a good cleaning when duck season is over. i liked it so much that i bought my wife the same gun this christmas! before i had my extrema 2 i had a benelli SBE2, it's a great gun but useing the 2 side by side[ which i did all the time because my wife would use the SBE2 until she got her new beretta] there is no comparison really. it's a great gun!

Killer,

Is the extrema that much better than the SBE2? or is it a toss up, and personal preference??

like i said, i have the SBE2[ well my dad has it now] the one thing i do like about the sbe2 is it is slimer-- so it it's not quit as bulky. it's not that much difference but it is slimer. other than that i think the eXtrema 2 is hands down the better gun. on top of that, if you get their Kick off recoil system, that thing is awsome!!i can literally shoot a 3" #2 off the center of my chest and it's nothing[ had to do it on a bet #-o ] but it is a great gun. dont get me wrong... you would never be unhappy with the SBE2, it's a great gun also, but if your gonna spend the money just get the best. that would be the EXTREMA :thumb 2

Killerbee, does your extrema2 have the Kick Off recoil reduction system? If so, how is it and if not, what are the differences between shotguns with and without it? Just curious.

mine does have the Kick off recoil system, my wifes does not. without it it is like any other auto loader, as far as recoil goes, it's not bad. with the kick off recoil system it's awsome! i had to shoot a 3" #2 duck load with the gun mounted on the center of my chest for a bet the first year i got the gun and it was nothing at all. if you have ever seen a competition skeet gun, the recoil systems they have on them where the whole butt of the gun is basically on a compretion shock. it very similer. you cant see it but you can push in on the recoil pad of the gun and feel the shock inside compress. it is awsome! i think i will have it put on my wifes gun this off season. you could shoot 3 1/2 " goose or turkey loads when you shoot clay pidgeons lol might be a little spendy....
