Trying to keep this forum alive!

Nothing real special, but a few more small shed pictures to help keep this forum going. It's the slow time of year for shed forums and it drives me crazy. C'mon....let's see some shed pictues guys/gals :) ! One of these days I might post pictures of some of my bigger sheds.

Here is a dead buck I found on my last hunt. He could have been a good one if he would have made it a couple more years.

I just took the sheds and left the pack there...LOL. How do you like your pack? I haven't been too impressed with mine. It doesn't distribute the weight to my hips and my shoulder get pretty sore...especially when I put a gun in it.

Torch, Thanks for sharing the photos. Maybe I will have a shed or two to show off next week. :thumb

actually the same as you stated the pack is not very evenly distributed. and barely puts any weight on my hips. Especially with a gun loaded on it or meat in the pack. Yes I know its not a pack frame but the hell if im coming out empty handed. Overall the material is nice and I ditched the water bladder for extra room. The insulate inside keeps my sandwiches cool which is nice. When I "Shed" this one and it isnt recovered I think Im going to "badlands" backpacks. Great shed pics too Glad you are keeping this place alive.

I was glassing across a canyon and I got excited, because I thought I had spotted a decent elk shed. Well, after I hiked over there I realized that two bulls must have engaged in quite a battle. It was kind of funny, because there was a guy standing 50 yards away from them and I'm sure he didn't know they were there. After he left I went and grabbed them. If you look close in the second picture you can see another tine laying off to the left of the big broken antler.

I wonder how long this little one was sitting by the road?

I assume that last one is a spike and not a broken tine right?

Thanks for the 'couple more'
