Ugh, this is a crazy story

Hello all,
I am a recent Colorado convert, and so I decided to put in for archery mule deer as my first Colorado, mule deer and archery hunt. Well I went on vacation this month and decided to take my bow to do some shooting with my father in law, Driving through Wyoming my bow case some how came loose from my trailer and vanished. I drove back down the highway 4 times and spent 6+ hours searching with now luck… Ironically I found out I got drawn for a tag! I didn’t expect it being this is my first year putting in for the draw… Worst thing is, I am on a tight budget and need to get a new bow so I can have enough practice time.

I have looked at recurves in the past, and have shot several, but never hunted with them (or any bow for that matter). I am also looking at some used compounds, but like i said i am on a tight budget, thats why i am leaning towards a recurve.

Good luck on the hunt, never used a recurve myself.

Have you looked at eBay? Ive seen some good bows on there for a not so bad price. What type of bows are you looking for? If I get wind of anything I'll let you know. :-k

to be honest, I have been looking at some of the composite take down recurves like the PSE Coyote and such. but it all depends on the bow and the price. I would like a recurve though.
