Unit 27 NV DEER

drew a tag in unit 27 nevada. any hints and/or suggestions for this area? it borders arizona (the strip) and weather can make it a good area. however as luck would have it, this spring we had multiple wildfires in this area followed by heavy late spring rains. next year will probably be a better year, but that doesn't do me any good now. i've done some summer scouting in the virgins, not seeing much, and plan to go out again this weekend. just am wondering if i should take a look at the mormon mountains/mesa or concentrate on the virgins? any special canyons, creeks etc. i should check out??? any help or advice would be greatly appreciated. being a subscriber, of course anything less than 30" probably won't excite me a hole lot, but even seeing one would be a blessing.
