Unit 43 Idaho

Been debating whether or not to put in for the unit 43 controlled elk hunt that coincides with the general deer season in that unit. I have hunted that unit 5 years for deer successfully but have never seen any elk. I have talked to many people that have seen elk in the unit but i never have. I have head up grouse creek is a pretty good area holding decent bulls and down on the 44 43 boundary. Maybe the old trinity burn might be good. Just would like to know any thoughts on the hunt.
