Upgraded my equipment

Upgraded my equipment yesterday. Went to a Bowtech Diamond Blackice. I think I drove the guy in the archery department at Bass Pro about nuts. I shot every 50-60 pound pull bow there until I found this one. They sell mostly 60-70 which I can't shoot because I put about 500 arrows downrange most weeks and at my age I get sore with the more manly testosterone ridden bows. Weird thing is the 50 pounder does anything I need done. And I'm a class A field archer and came in 3rd in Hunter money last shoot. Kill some game occasionally too.
With all that aside I'll tell you the reason I upgraded. Some low form of life broke out my drivers window and stole my old one from my vehicle. (I'll be upgrading the glass on my Silverado too this week!!!) I figured it was one of the two guys I caught wandering around the 55 plus neighborhood I live in that morning. I called the sheriff and started doing what I do naturally. Tracking. I followed little bits of glass from their shoes and eventually found one of the gloves they had taken and dropped as they hurried away. One of my neighbors I hadn't met asked me what I was doing and I told him and he produced a little tool bag with buglar's tools in it that he found in his flower bed. So I was on the right trail. A while later the trail stopped at an apartment door and that's where I took the sheriff. Seems that in this 55 plus neighborhood you can have a younger family member live with you as a care giver. He can't be a convicted felon on probation though as we found out that this young man was. He nearly died when we showed up at his door. The sheriff said he's sure he did it but there wasn't enough proof to arrest him. No decent finger prints on the truck. We'll go to the manager monday and ask why this young man is there, being a felon and all. We found out he doesn't work, his grandmother does and she takes care of him!!!! He can't figure out out how we found him. Just old fashioned hillbilly skills that work here too. I'd love to show him some of the other things I learned but the sheriff said to leave him alone or they'd happily put me in jail. I hate this new age philosophy. Brave new world and all.
Well the new bow shoots better than the old one. I guess I was shooting up to the potential of my Martin and needed better equipment.
