I debated and debated about trying the pauns archery but decided on a CWMU instead. I hope my 9 points are enough. Also did wasatch moose and wasatch west archery for my general.

Good luck to all

Well my wife and I still have 2 years of dedicated hunter so it's nice to know we'll be guaranteed some hunting! Other than that though:

My wife:
Henry's Rifle……chances are one in a million (so I'm saying there's a chance) lol
Zion - Desert Sheep

Myself:
Paunsy Archery
Nebo Bighorn Sheep….if I drew this hunt, my luck for the rest of my life would be spent!

Gen Deer - Ogden muzzleloader
LE Elk - Manti early rifle (and when that fails I'll buy up a general any bull tag)
Moose - Ogden

Thought I'd give dedicated hunter a chance so I put in for:

Zion-DH

Zion- Muzzleloader

Mt.Dutton/Pauns Archery Proghorn

I've got 2 or 3 points for the goat tag which means I should have drawn it two years ago so hopefully this is the year so I can quit putting in for it.

Put in NM area 51. Elk archery first and second choice, first rifle third choice. Docters did some pretty good work on me this year so if I draw I can draw my bow. Good luck everbody.

Now you will have a better idea on your chances of drawing a tag.

Not to good of news for the Mt Goat hunters. :>/

Thanks for the link, some real interesting data there. Some of it surprises me for sure. Increase in Paunsaugunt tags, yet decrease in Pauns management tags. Seems odd to me. Anyway I enjoyed the info a lot.

Yeah I am glad that I switched my choice on my mt. goat hunt.

I was putting in for the Timpanogos unit and they cut a bunch of the tags there. Not that I really have a chance at drawing but it's fun to have a little more hope. [-o<

Is it that they are struggling, or are the trying to get other herds established? If i remember right they have been transplanting quite a few in the past year.

I hope its not because they are struggling. They are one animal I want to hunt in my lifetime

Not sure 9er, but to be a hit in the number tags that big shows more than just re-establishing or transplanting herds. I could be wrong though. :)

Utah:
CWMU buck deer
Current Creek Muzzy
Beaver Goat

Oregon:
Rifle elk,
Deer points
Antelope points
John Day Sheep
Mt Goat

Nevada:
Late rifle buck
Antelope buck
Rifle bull elk.

Wyoming:

I expect to end up with a Utah muzzy deer tag and an Oregon elk tag out of the draws. Anything else would be awesome. I will also buy an OTC deer tag in Idaho. Good luck to everyone in the draws. We will know soon.------SS
