so whats everyone putting in for in utah?
i beleive jan 2nd is when we can start right?
i am going with

gen archery deer

1st choice le elk-panguitch lake archery
2nd choice le elk-sw desert early rifle

oil-wasatch moose

 Dedicated is not a draw, however it it nearing its cap, so if you want to do it, i would register within the first few days you can or else it might fill up!!!

Once it is at its cap, then it will be tough to get in unless you are already in.

As for me:

I am also dedicated for deer.
and I am putting in for limeted entry early wasatch elk.

My dad is Dedicated for deer, and is putting in for:
Bookcliffs Muzz deer.

My brother is 14 this year and willbe hunting all threes seasons for deer since his is under 18. And will be putting in for Parker Mt. Rifle Antelope.

Might look into start putting in for out of state tags this year.

Here is how the dedicated hunter plan works.

When you join you are enrolled for three years.

In those three years you can hunt all three years but can only harvest two deer. So for one year you will have to go with out. On the up side you can hunt all three general hunt seasons instead of just one general season like the regular tag holders.

To get you tags you have to pay a little more money and do some work to help improve the habitat in the state.

It been getting more and more popular as time goes by and will soon fill up. I my self just stick with the archery seasons. I get plenty of hunting in and the weather is nice and mellow.

I hope that this helps explain it some.
