Utah draw emails are rolling out.

I got my email today telling me that I will be sitting on the sidelines cheering on the rest of you guys.

I finally had some luck come my way. Paunsaugunt rifle deer. I know the area slightly but of course help would be appreciated if anyone is willing to offer a helping word.

Hey JDavid how many points did it take to draw Pauns? I'll be doing central muzzleloader this year.

I only had one point. Before you all get mad and sick with envy. My uncle and me put in as a group and we averaged 8 between the both of us. So he was due a tag and me just luckily enough it was the one year we decided to put in as a group. The years past a simple general northern tag was good enough. This year I thought I would try my luck before the big changes in 2012. If anyone hunting northern that doesn't mind the travel I can offer a few great locations.

No deer, elk, or antelope for me. Looks like I'll just be "driving through" the Beehive State on my way to the CO high country in August. Good luck to those who drew a tag!

I'm now at 7 points for elk, 4 for bighorn, and I got my general archery tag! Hopefully I can make the most of this last year of statewide archery.

At least you guys know what you will be up to this season, I am still waiting for WA and ID results before I know what plans to make/not make.

The suspense is killing me....as if I ever draw anything anway....LOL.
