Just curious if anyone has heard anything regarding the Utah archery hunts. I've seen and heard of some great bucks being taken this year, but the elk scene has been pretty quiet.
Went out last Saturday evening for a ride on the Wasatch and was surprised by how few we saw. 7 bulls (2 were spikes) that were all young. Only one was rubbed and his antlers were bone white so he hadn't been rubbed too long.

I have a Manti tag. Its been hot and the bulls are scattered. I hear a few people are seeing lone bulls now though. I think they'll be picking up cows within a week or so. Hopefully some cool weather will move in and keep them feeding a little longer. I haven't heard of any bulls being taken yet.
