Utah Oak Creek South Late Elk Hunt

New to the forum. Posted in roll call earlier. Typically I hunt elk near Joe's Valley but thought I would try a different area. I only had enough points to realistically have a shot in Oak Creek South. Sure enough drew a tag there for the late hunt (4 points). I know from several posts here and in other places that this is not a great area. However, I've also heard some people post that elk are there in the late season, you just have to know where to find them. I'd appreciate any input where people may have had success on a similar elk hunt in this area or info where elk may hang out from locals who actually know. Thanks for any help.
