utah youth elk hunt

whats up folks....

well my oldest boy drew youth elk his first try!!!!!

I'm looking for some ideas!

I've got some ares in mind, I'm mostly worried about keeping him entertained.... If we hike for two hours and dont see an elk- he'll get bored and quit.

I think if I can get him on some bugling action, he might get hooked.... at least that's my hope

heck, I'm not even worried about bringing one home... I'll be happy just getting him away from the video games!!!! So it's important that he has an opportunity to bond with mother nature on this hunt..... He killed his first buck last year, and seemed to like hunting.... and he seems pretty excited about this elk hunting opportunity.

I've even considered hiring a guide..... anything I can do to make this as succesful as possible... I'm really trying to light a fire in him. If he chooses not to be a hunter in the futere, thats fine... but I dont want it to be because he had a crappy elk hunt #-o

any thoughts?
