Wasatch front Bucks/Bulls pics

Hey guys, i'm new to this site, but i'm a die hard wasatch front hunter, and would like to see some of your kills on the wasatch either this year or prior years. I had good luck finding elk this year. in fact i think i saw more elk than deer this year including some really nice 6 point bulls. Anyways i need to find some guys that like to hunt "the front" as much as i do. these days i goit alone just too much, or with guys that dont have the commitment i do. Lets see some pics! :thumb

Hey i am new to the site to. i love the wasatch and pretty much do things the same way you do. All by myself have been trying to find someone that loves to hunt them like i do. Where do you live at in Utah.

I live in Magna. This site has been one of the best i have come acroos as far as hunting goes. All the guys on here are very cool, and its nice to talk to guys in your state that hunt the same areas.

I killed this guy east of Draper in Corner Canyon I think. I wasted a bunch of the first part of the season in the Uintans before it cooled off (and gas was over $4 a gallon). I want to get familiar with the Wasatch mountains too so that's all I've hunted since.

Were you near the top of corner canyon. I hunted their a couple weeks ago and saw the most deer i have seen since early season. I didnt hunt it much this year because of the fire i scouted it about a week before the fire and then i just gave up on it once teh fire hit. Did you see any other bucks up their?

Good kill :thumb . I havent hunted Corner Canyon for 2 years because it used to get slammed with hunters. Maybe i'll have to try it next year.

 I was quite a ways above where the fire was. In fact, the clouds rolling through there made it seem a bit higher. I probably would have seen more deer, but I went after the fist bunch I seen. My friend coming up the trail behind me with his pack goats saw about 50 does. Other than the guys I was with, I didn't see anybody else. Down lower, there were a lot of people. I think I counted 15 pickup trucks when I got down to where my truck was. Then down the dirt road south of there there were a bunch.

Unfortunately I forgot my camera so I had to take pictures in my back yard. The terrain where I shot him looked similar to the terrain in the picture of the two-point above but with more aspens and pines. I got him during the final weekend of the hunt. Saw a lot of nice bucks and I was able to get this one. I named him Energizer because of how strong he was and how long and far I had to track him.

Yes, Wasatch Extended Archery Buck harvested the final weekend in November. I viewed your many pics and congratulate you on your success. Looking forward to 2009 even though I still have an archery elk tag that I'm going to try and fill down in the San Pete Extended Archery Area. Problem is that I hunt public (don't have access to private) and San Pete is mostly private.
