Washington State Bull

New to the site. I found it by mistake, but thought I'd show off my bull from last season. Ironically, we ended up getting 3 bulls in 3 consecutive trips to the woods this year. All 3 basically from the truck en route to the place we wanted to hunt. As you all know, sometimes it's better to be lucky than be good.

Here he is, 6X6 with the start of a 7th on one side. Measured out at 333.5 gross

no, not a hard to draw tag. I live on the Colville Indian Reservation which comprises 1.4 million acres. Every year, any enrolled member is eligible for an elk tag to hunt the reservation. I've got luxuries most don't, in that we start our bow season (again open to all enrolled members that own bows) in September for 2 weeks. After that, our elders have 1 week of rifle elk season, then the rest of the year is open to general rifle season for elk. I got this the 2nd weekend of rifle season. We also picked up a 300 (estimated) bull the weekend before and a spike the weekend after. Below is the first bull we bagged. The camera angle gave this bull too much credit as it was the smaller of the 2, but nonetheless big in itself.
