I thought I would post a pic of my waterfowl rig. I posted pics of it in here a few months back. I have since lifted the rear suspension and put larger tires on it. It looks better. It's still a work in progress, but it's getting there! Let me know what you think....

Nice rig and boat! I love camo hunting rigs and boats! Most of my friends and family think I'm a little camo obsessed, but what do they know! I can't wait to get my rig out in the field. I'm in the process of welding up a better back and front bumper and a hitch to pull a little enclosed trailer and/or boat. (the trailer and boat will be camo as well)
It looks like you do pretty well in Montana. I love the duck and goose hunting in Idaho as well. Good variety. We did really well the last week of the season as far as green heads and widgeon go. A pretty good year for geese in the field as well, but could have been better. I can't wait for this year, that is as soon as I tag a big buck and bull!
Thanks for posting the pics. Keep 'em coming..
What part of Idaho are you in? Can't tell from the inside of your garage.
I hunt waterfowl right on the Idaho/Oregon line. We saw a lot of ducks but didn't get too many geese this past season.
I don't ususally hunt from my vehicle so I don't see the need for the camo, but I do like the way your VW looks in camo!
I live in Meridian. I usually hunt down toward Bruneau. We do pretty good on ducks down there and occassionaly a few geese. Most of my goose hunting takes place around Meridian and Lake Lowel. We did alright last year.
Yeah, the camo on the vehicle is not exactly useful. I don't hunt out of my bug either. I just like the camo. I'm somewhat of a camo feak. I plan on applying camo to a truck as well. Not the entire truck but the accent stuff. It's fun to drive around. I get a lot of comments with it. More of a conversation piece...
Anyhow, good luck to you this year! Thanks for the reply
