Now all we need to do is slap Pakistan around a little for harboring him for so long. Then keep on the offensive as hard as possible and route out all Al Qaida while their minds are reeling from their loss! Then we may have some long awaited peace.

Yea right Pakistan didn't know or have a clue where he was. Sure there was plenty of folks that knew and plenty others that suspected. GREAT news on loser Bin Laden, an IMPRESSIVE feat by the US and brave, bold men, & move. Well done I'm IMPRESSED!! salxxute

No matter how long it takes
No matter how far you run
No matter where you hide (hole, cave or compound)
No matter who you know

My hat's off to SEAL Team 6 for a perfectly executed mission! Those guys are baddest men on the face of the planet!

As for Pakistan....Bin Laden's compound was 100 yards from the main gate of a Pakistani military base. You can't tell me for a second that Pakistan did not know where he was!!!

I've been on cloud nine since the news broke! God bless America and those men and women overseas fighting for our continued freedom from idiots like Bin Laden and his followers.

1st of all----a big 10sign: to are u.s. military!!! what a bunch of bad azz guys, laying their lives on the line. they are the best there is! THAT is what makes you PROUD to be an american!!

now a couple of my questions on the whole deal..............

is it just me, or is it a joke that Obama is taking credit for the whole deal? wasn't he just wanting to not pay the troops a couple weeks ago?

and is it a little funny that they just dumped the covered body into the ocean?

IMO- THE TROOPS did their job, kicked azz and won their battle- then politics has started trying to gain as much as possible out of the deal :>/

Well Killer, I'll give credit where credit is due.

To start, I did NOT vote for Obama and hope like heck that his term ends with the next election.

#1: SEAL Team 6, the CIA, the Combat Aircrews, Intelligence folks, etc get the credit with the kill(s). They did the dirty work and deserve 100% of the praise

#2: Obama did two things right: He let the hunt for Bin Laden and the war in Afghanistan to continue. Both were/have been in question since he took command. He knew that we needed to follow this through and allowed the military to do so. 2nd, he gave the order to send SEAL Team 6 in and take the SOB out. It was not an easy decision since it meant sending combat units into Pakistani territory, conduct a mission inside thier boarder without permission, and did not know with 100% certainty that Bin Laden was even there at that time. It took balls to say "We are going in regardless and we are not going to do it with drones, high level bombers, etc. I'll give him this much....he did EXACTLY what I would want my President to do in this situation.

#3: Credit has also got to go to Former President Bush who sent us in after Bin Laden in the first place. He was hell bent on getting this guy, even if it continued after he was no longer in office.

I am not a fan of 95% of what President Obama has done up to now and again, I wasn't a fan of his in the first place and hope we see some REAL change in 2014 but he did GREAT with this whole operation and I will give him his just dues. (Probably could have picked a better code name for Bin Laden though. I can understand why the Native American population is upset with that one.)

Hawk is right on this one! Give credit were credit is due, this is one of the few times that Obama
made the RIGHT call and decision but beyond that he did little (but being the Chief and Commander of the country it is/was his call) and so good job on this one, those Team 6 fellas and company were flawless IMO. Bush certainly deserves credit as done Clinton also.

But agreed, one and DONE on Obama is what we need!

I have no problem with dumping the body overboard, in fact I like it. Can't imagine a burial where crazy folks get to go worship this goon. I have no problem not releasing photos either.

Just my 2 cents.

Seems to me I read somewhere in the news, that the main reason he was buried at sea, was because ther wasn't a country in the world that would accept the body for burial. That's ok with me, no one needs a constant reminder or "shrine" of an individual that caused so much harm throughout the world.
