what a bummer man, i know it's to be safe but 400sq inches feels like i might as well just tell the deer and elk im on the way..
im new to the elk hunting part of it, anyone feel like it would really effect much if you have a good backdrop? gonna go do some walking in the wasatch with my bow on thursday
oh and how much orange do you think it takes for 400sq inches? a vest and hat hopefully enough?

yes im hunting below i-80, but i havent heard or read that one....i have heard rumors the emigration canyon is archery only? so maybe if that's true it would apply there...all hearsay until i see it written somewhere though.
ohwell going for a walk out there in the morning i need to get some sleep! more of a scouting mission but maybe ill get lucky, got a deer tag too.
i saw no hunters or heard anything so i didnt wear it, had a little on my backpack...no elk but i saw two moose and 6 bucks all 3pt or bigger but couldnt get a shot...
now where are those darn elk at, i hiked my ass off, ive never hiked so hard in my life for no elk sign, but it was still an awesome day, especially seeing so many nice bucks and i so happen to have a tag :D
