Weekend trip! WARNING: PIC HEAVY!

My dad and I took a weekend trip to Southern Utah.

FRIDAY

We get to were we decided to be about an hour before sun down. We headed out for a short hike about a mile loop. First shed of the trip was a small four point, sadly the G3 and G4 were broken! :>/ The next shed was just a small 2 point. He then glassed on the hill in front of him and spotted a nice little 4 point. Now it was about dark so we headed back to the truck. The first 3 sheds are the 2 top and the bottom ones on the right side. TO BE CONTINUED :-k :))

Of course we were in Utah so we had to leave it behind (if it had been big enough we would have called the fish and game and had them come check it out). We headed up the hill and found one of the biggest 3 point horns that I have ever seen! We are hoping to go back next year and maybe find the other sides to the big browns when they are white.

I am not point a finger, just asking for clarification; isn't it illegal to take an antler with any attached skull plate? I have not ever done the shed hunting, but have heard rumor of that. Thanks for sharing!

I have heard that also but wasn't sure, we didn't even think about it being part of the skull until we were pulled into town and I was looking at it.
