West Desert Vernon Unit

Hey guys I drew out on the West Desert Vernon unit this year for the any weapon hunt in October. I am way excited about it, I have heard many great things about this hunt, however my problem is I have been out there a few times this year and driving the roads I have only found maybe 4 bucks, and out of those 4 only two were ok. I have gotten a little discouraged and was expressing this to my buddy, who mentioned that maybe I should ask around on this site. I know I am new on this site, but I would really appreciate any help anyone could give me from where to go, to how to hunt, is it a road hunting area? Is it a get out and walk around hunt? How do you even see anything up there? I really was amazed at how big the junipers are and how those deer can use them so well to hide from me. Any help will be greatly appreciated and maybe one day I can return the favor. Thanks guys

You need to get in touch with the guys who were busted for poaching there; what a shame all of the big bucks that were poached there.
