i am looking for a camera and a lens that i can take good wildlife pictures with and that is not really expensive what do you suggest and where could i get the camera at??

What do you call not really expensive? Digital slr's are fairly expensive. Film slr's are getting quite cheap.

I'd check out the Digital Rebel from Cannon and a 28-300mm lense and the Nikon D50 with the same lense. I shoot the Nikon D70 but don't know if it's avaliable anymore, probally somewhere. I'd also get a 1.4x tele-converter.

I got my wife the canon Digital Rebel two years ago as a kit. for $895. It takes great pics as you can see in previous posts. I bought it online at buy.com. I inherited her Olympus C740UZ, it has less resolution, but still takes great pics. You can find them used at various places. My buddy bought his wife a refurbed unit and it shoots everybit as good as ours. It is basically a point and shoot but has some manual features that are nice to have.
