What color vanes?

I am going to be getting some new arrows and have the old ones worked over. Just wondering what color vanes do you guys prefer. Do you conceal them or do you like the brightones for finding and tracking the arrow after the shot.

BOHNTR
I personally prefer bright colors so I can track the arrow in flight. It's easier for me to know exactly where my shot placement is. It also makes locating my arrow after I miss a lot easier. (???) I'm currently using two neon yellow and one neon green.

I gotta go with BOHNTR, use a bright color for the reasons he's listed.

Heads or Tails
I prefer lighter colored fletching as well. I even use a white with one bright yellow, as mentioned by others you can track arrow flight and I find it helpful when you do hit something it will show you good color on your hit.
I even will put light colored wraps on some of my arrows, but I like using those on 3D's too.

Touch 'em all
I use a bright red and white. I use the red because they stick out in the country I hunt in. There is usually not a lot of red bushes. I also have used bright green and yellow. They turn a cool shade of redish-orange when they are covered with blood, but are hard to find in the early fall colors. :arrow

I'm with the others. I run two white and a bright green. They stand out during flight real well but when you tucked back into the bushes they won't stand out.

All white. I used to use orange but I lost an arrow in a bean field after the leaves started to change.

Maybe I'll try going with red, white and blue.

All white with white wraps in the early part of the year and then when we get snow I use 2 white and one red, and wraps of course. The wraps make it easier to follow the arrow in flight.

Great pic and I like your thought process, now I wanna see a pic of the big ole SNUFFER. :)

My vanes are 2 florescent yellow and 1 orange.

Okay these wraps, are you putting them on yourself, or do you have a pro shop do it for you. I like the idea of being able to see it better in flight.

I have the arrows ordered as shafts only, I then have Gerald ( utah Archery)wrap them and put a hard helical on them and no inserts. I then put my BH on a insert scuff the inside of the shaft a little and then align my BH with a Fletch, Heat the BH( the snuffers are glue in adapter) and spin an a tuner to dry as I am spinning the arrow and BH for True tuned and aligned BH.

Here is a pic Brett 125Gr Snuffer
The second pic you can tell how thick the blades are.
The last picture is a Snuffer shot at a concrete wall, and a Montec G5 shot at a concrete wall.

I also use a solid white wrap with two bright green and one bright yellow vane. They are a lot easier to see in flight, but can still be a little difficult to locate in the brush. Don't make fun of me, but I'm actually considering switching to a fluorescent purple like my wife's. I don't know how you could lose one of those things no matter what the terrain is like.

I have a buddy that shoots purple and they are REAL easy to find.
