Do these look like this years rubs. I think they do and I have seen a ton but I have yet to see many elk. I have onbly seen two cows walking away from me in a aspen grove?

Yep.... ITs this year. Probably from elk.

They are diffinately from this year, are they elk, hard to say. What's the highest point on the rub?? Is it over about 5 foot, probably an elk.......

Yeah I would say that they are this years rubs.

How is the hand doing?

I know an area like that that is covered in rubs like that but once the hunts start the elk aren't usually still there. Once they rub it is time to start gathering the harems so they move out of the summer grounds a little more.

Highest point might be 4.5 feet.
