I picked up one in a .204 Ruger last year and loved it.

I've talked to a couple of people now and they said the the A-Bolt is one of the best production rifles being made right now.

just a very solid gun! there are better out there but in a whole nother price range and all in all they are hard to beat, and i'm not being biast because i dont personnaly own one but i have shot a few and one i hunted with one year in new mexico when my scope was off and i didn't trust it. you cant go wrong with it. another gun to look at is the Tikka T3, same thing , great gun hard to beat. they have a factory garrenteed under 1" group when bought[ most of the better gun should be able to do this] but it's nice they will put a garrentee on it.

My son has had one for 10 years in a 270. He has not had any problems with it.
the only thing i've heard bad about them was from a guy I hunted with on kodiak that said he has seen problems with them around saltwater.
