what gun do you use for deer?
28,636
My son uses a .243 and my brother uses a .270 or .308.
But 30.06 is a great gun also, and 243 and others. But some are a bit to powerful in my opinion.
does doc white still live over that way?
Now, because I am a lefty, I prefer the Rem 760 (or 76 or 7600) or the Browning BLRs. They are short enough to swing well without excessive weight and you never have to take your gun off of your shoulder to cycle the action.
3-9x40 nikon buckmaster
winchester supreme ballistic siver tip 115gr
Weatherby Fiberguard 20" barrel in .270 no scope on it at the moment
Savage 110 24" barrel in 7mm rem mag topped with a leupold VX III 3.5x10x40mm
traditions 50 cal inline muzz
bow
I now use a 7mm
Thing I like about a 7mm is that it is big enough for elk as well.
.50 caliber knight disc with 260 grain powerbelt pushed with 150 grain pyrodex
mathews switchback with carbon express arrows
9er
