What Happened to the World Record?

In 2007, the new world record sheds were picked up. 307". They had picked up several sets off him and one great big single that i know of? They are all amazing. But what happended to the giant buck?! They havnt picked up anymore sheds off him that I know of. knowone killed him. What is the story behing this great giant? If any of you guys know please post it. If they have picked up his sheds and they are smaller or they kiled and i havnt heard about it that is my fault. I was just checking out his sets today and got to thinking what really happended to this big guy?

He was killed...the very next year after the 307" sheds were picked up. It was killed on the Kaibab. Can't remember the hunters name, but it was in MuleyCrazy magazine. They did not mention it was the same buck however. Scored regressed to a measly 245" or so. :)

Thanks for the info. I will try to dig up some pictures. 245 is still a pig. If you guys have some pics lets see them.

Yup, he was taken...but not before he had more than a few years to spread those genes of his.
