I would have to say that I also agree that I think that mass is the best because it definitely makes the look of the antlers. Thanks guys good question!!

Hey guys.....I find that pretty amazing myself that only 12 people have voted. Maybe the 12 of us have just checked it 130 times :D And it's such a simple and interesting question. Isn't that the great thing about Muleys, there all so unique and people love for different reasons?

P.S.....width

I HAVE TO SAY THAT MY PERSONAL FAVORITE IS WIDTH, HOWEVER, GOOD MASS SURE MAKES UP SOME POINTS WHEN A DEER LACKS IN THE OTHER TWO CATEGORIES :D

I went with width, but what i love about muleys is their width mass and height!!lol. It varies though, a nice wide and tall rack is nice and doesnt have to be thick, but yet i also like the looks of just a really thick and somewhat tall rack. But nothin beats all 3.

I'd say you are all wrong. Those aspects are all really nice, but nothing compares to tine lenght. Lost of people are saying mass, thats nice. But I scored a shed off a 200"+ mulie that had almost no mass. It doesn't take a massive deer to make bucks, but it does take tine length! Thats my vote so scratch height. My bro did however kill a 29" wide 25" high 4x4 in Colorado that was good all around. I do agree that the "prettiest" bucks are the ones that got it all. My bro's deer just was scored by a B&C scorer and it went 192 3/8". Not bad considering they had only been to the area scouting once! But honestly, its tine length that makes a buck score big. High bucks usually have more horn than wide bucks around here.

I went for height in the poll, but only because that normally means good tine length. But I have seen many a tall buck that has really crappy forks. I, myself, have really high goals, so I am looking for it all. I'd pass up a willow horned wide buck any day. Mass is pretty damn important to me. Width is nice, but it has to be combined with deep forks and mass. And don't forget Trash. I love my bucks a little on the trashy side. Actually alot on the Trashy side. LOL!

i am going to retract what i said earlier, shedhunter hit the nail square on the head. tine lenght, tine length, and more tine length. that is what it all comes down too. not only that but those big ole' mulies with nice deep forks sure make awesome wall appeal. i too have seen many a deer score not as high as they should because of shallow forks. they got mass, they got width, but they are lacking in the lenght department. where i hunt in wyoming, deep forks are just not in the gentics. but they usually are sporting some good mass. they tend to lean on the narrow side as well, not that there are not good wide bucks they are just fewer and farther between.

If I was going strictly for score I'd say height, whichis what I voted. For a great looking mount width would be my vote. Mass is great too, why isn't there an all three box?
