Whats your favorite bullet?

I was wondering what you all use as your primary bulley and in what caliber. I have been using 160 nosler partitions in my 7mm rem mag, and 150 gr Barnes X triple shock bullets in my .308.

Depending on what caliber i'm shootin or what grains I choose for which ever game - I almost always use the "Trophy Bonded" stuff. It's been great for me

160 nosler partitions in my 7mm rem mag as well the most accurate from that gun. I like barns but they dont seam to group good from my 270 or 7mm but the 6.5 they are tight as heck, 270 I can put most any thing through it and its just plane evil on paper I can stack with good conditions. what powder are you guys using too, Im with IMR mostly med to under hot loads seam to be the most accurate for me. As long as it's in a red box and says Hornady on it, I'm not real particular. For powder its a toss up IMR or Hodgens. I've tried a number of other brands but still haven't found any that are much better so stick with what I know.

For deer my 30-06 is loaded with Hornady 165 grain Interlock SPs. For elk that same gun gets 180 grain Nosler Partitions. For the 45-70 I use Hornady 350 grain FPs.

I'm anouther fan of the Nosler line..

Ballistic tips for antelope
Accubonds for deer
Partitions for Elk and Moose

have tried Barnes for deer but on broadside shots have just drilled small holes thru deer with no expansion at 200 yards, and only harvested that deer because my 3 shot was a high shoulder breaking the spine. they may be good for quartering away or for Texas heart shots, but for broadside shots they just zip right thru.

Remington Corelocks are anouther one I use if shooting factory rounds.

Just my 2cents worth

I prefer the 150 grain in ballistic tip. I buy Federal premium ammo because I can locate it in most stores if I should get off without mine. I shoot mostly reloads but I load them to shoot with the Fed Prem 150s.
