Where have all the bucks gone?

The last week of the elk hunt I ran into 10-12 bucks all with in a few hundred yards of my camp. The day before the deer hunt I had 5 nice bucks walk single file right through my camp while I sat in my truck. That was the last time I saw a buck that was alive haha. Anyone else having the same luck? Anyone know if Smith and Morehouse area is being hunted hard?
