Where is This?

I started one of these threads back on the DNR forum. It seemed to be quite popular. How about we try it here. If you can guess where the photo was taken you get to post one of your own.

Oh, I forgot to tell you. You'll never find this lake. But you may have seen its footprint. And the picture was taken on the way to our deer hunting camp in 1983.

 Well, you can see what became Highway 6, and yes, is was on the way to Fairview. Do you remember the Stewart Road?

I dont remember the Stewart road but I remember the flood, I was a soph in hs at the time. My dad always took us up Diamond Fork, that year the road up there was washed out too.

I won't give it away Loke, but this is another hint. The lake that wasn't, then was, and now isn't anymore is named after a plant.

I remember that.

My dad helped work on the tunnel for the railroad when all that happened. It sure made me nervous to live right next to the hills after that happend.

 I remember that as well. I grew up in Price and when the mountain came down and covered the road, it felt like we were cut off from the rest of the world.
