Which is the best bull elk unit in the country

Lets take a little pole here to find out what unit or area is thought to be the best in the country for Rocky mtn. elk. :-k
I love Montana so I would have to say Montanas 313 because of all the elk coming out of the park.

I'll say Monroe in Utah, since the world record was just taken off there.

Hmmm, thats a tough question. Seems liks AZ always produces a lot of big boys. Utah has got the Pahvant, Beaver ,San Juan, SouthWest Deseret and frankly I think those units would hang with any unit in the country.

Arizona, Utah has few good units also. :)

I am swayed to Utah, simply cuz i live here... But each state has a unit that will rival anyother unit in another state... Some hogs have been coming out of New Mexico too... Tough question... Years vary, Utah is kinda down this year, New Mexico, and AZ are up...

YUP! Even my home state of Washington has a few AWESOME elk units that consistantly produce huge bulls. In fact, our state record was broken last year by a bull scoring over 449 B&C. Of course, these units are draw only so there are only a handful of folks that get the opportunity to hunt them every year...and I hope to be one of those before I die!
