Which one

I had my 1981 model Zeiss binocs stolen last fall. I am now in the marker for some new ones. I am wondering if you guys prefer Leica, or Swarvoski? Is one better than the other?

Better than the other? Not in my opinion. I have a set of each in one form or another. My newest addition is the Leica Geovid BRF (binocular range finder) in 10-42. They are awesome, IMO. However, my Swarovski's and Zeiss' are good too. They simply do not make a BRF.

I almost have enough saved for some KAHLES 10x42, a friend of mine bought some and the second I looked through them I fell in love. They will be mine. Oh yes they will be mine.

BOHNTR - that pair sounds great! Bino's and a range finder all in one! That'd be perfect; I'll bet it took a good piece outta the wallett but i'm sure it pays itself back too.

Yeah, they aren't exactly a "good" buy in terms of cost. I think they retail for $1950.00 now??? I got them a lot cheaper, as I ordered when they were new and sold for about $1200.00. Still a lot of money, but great glass with a RF is nice.

I believe Kahles is owned by Swarovski. Should be some good glass there

Well i came home from the hunting shop today, with my new Swarvoski SLC 10 x 42's. I have done alot of research and believe I won't be disappointed in them.

You can't go wring with either one. To have the bino and range finder in a top of the line optic.............fantastic.

Oh would I love to have binocs like that. But with the price of fuel I'm going to stay with my trusty old Redfields.
