A buddy and I are planning on going to Colorado next year. The White River Nat'l Park looks awesome outside of Meeker. I cannot figure out if the either sex OTC archery tags are valid though or if it is draw only. If it is draw only, where would be a good place to go after an elk with a archery OTC tag. Not looking to piggy back on anyone's hard work or years of blood, sweat, and tears but a nudge in the right direction I would be most thankful for.

My brother, nephew and I went on archery hunt just north of Pagosa Springs. I'm not sure of the unit name but we made out way up onto the continental divide and found some elk to chase. It was about twevle mile in and we were hunting between eleven and fourteen thousand feet in elevation so thankfully we had some horses.
