Whitetails in the West

Hey I'm wanting to go on a whitetail hunt in the closes spot to Utah. I'm not looking for a monster just a regular whitetail. Thanks for all of the help and any info is great

Idaho has a lot of whitetails and they were allowing you to buy 2 tags in some units.

What units are the best and easiest to draw?

Dont know what the status is of right now as they had a hard winter a year or so ago, but the northern area was producing some good whitetail bucks. Lots of public ground and left over tags usually available.
