WHOO HOO! KILLER FOUND ANOTHER GOOD SET!!!

well not as cool as my non-typical set but hey, i wont complain! he's a 6x7 that i scored at 325" with a 36"spread. but i think this bull is an EXTRA WIDE bull. the way his horns are shaped it makes his 50" main beams lookj short. when i hold them like they should look i believe he is at least 40"inside and more like 42" but anyway they were laying 10 ft. away from each other. but kinda got a little heavy when i was packing them 5 miles back to the truck:)

i have to get my wife to take a picture for me, you see-- when i set my camera on the self timer, i got home and all the pics where screwed up. my head chopped off, the sides of the horns chopped off,etc... but i will have her take some pics tomorrow!

thanks all! but i think i'm just getting lucky. yes i have put on some miles and spent some time behind my spotting scope, but i haven't found a small horn yet. so far this year i have only found a total of 6 horns and you have seen all of them. just so happens that out of 6 horns 4 of them are matched set from nice bulls. but man i never thought shed hunting could be this fun. it's a good reason to get in post-winter shape+ after finding that first non-typ set i think i could be hooked.!! but trust me, there are FAR BETTER shed horn hunters around than me. i just like to hike and this is a new reason to get out in the woods!

 i agree, but if i wouldn't of found that non-typ. set, these would be by far the biggest sheds i have found. so i was still pretty stoked! i think i'll be doing lots more shed hunting in the future!
