1 c Onion [chopped]
1/4 c Celery [chopped]
1/2 c Water
1 pk Corn bread stuffing mix [herb-seasoned]
1 (cube) chicken bouillon
1/2 c Hot water
1/2 c Burgundy
6 sl Bacon
1/2 c Burgundy
Rinse the bird and pat dry inside and out. Brown 8 slices of bacon in a skillet `til CRISP, then drain reserving the drippings. Saute the onions and celery in the bacon drippings in a skillet `til brown, and add 1/2 cup of water and simmer fo 5 min. Combine the stuffing mix, boullion cube (dissolved in 1/2 c of hot water), 1/2 c burgundy, onion and crumpled bacon in a bowl mixing well. Stuff and truss the turkey. Place the bird in a roaster and arrange 4 slices of bacon across the breast. Wrap 1 bacon slice around each leg and cover tightly with foil. Place the lid on the roaster and bake at 300 degrees F for 4 1/2 hours. Pour remaining burgundy over the turkey and bake uncovered for 40 more min. basting every 10 min. Let stand for 10 min. before slicing and serve.

K killerbee.. don't have no secret fancy way to cook your turkey.. but I do have an amazing delicious recipe for that leftover turkey!! or any other type of bird it originally called for Grouse but we didn't have any and just used chicken but I'm sure any bird would be wonderful in it and it's so easy!! I have made this a couple of times now.. and it is wonderful every time!!

Grouse Tortellini Soup
• 4 cups chicken broth
• 2 Quarts bottled whole tomatoes (don’t drain)
• 2 1/2 tbsp olive oil
• 1 Tbsp Garlic
• 5 grouse breast strips cut into cubes (uncooked or cooked will work)
• 1 small onion chopped
• 1/2 cup thin sliced carrots
• 1 tbsp Montreal Steak (McCormick Grill Mates, or ur favorites seasoning will work also)
• 1 cup fresh green beans sliced or 1 pint bottled green beans - drained
• 2 cups dried cheese filled tortellini
• 1/2 cup celery (finely chopped)

Put Broth & Tomatoes in pan, heat to let tomatoes breakup a little. Heat 1 tbsp oil in saucepan at med heat add grouse, cook add seasoning and garlic cook until browned stir often then remove add to broth mixture. In frying pan add a little more oil & sauté onions, celery, carrots and fresh green beans (if used bottled just add to the broth mixture) & cook until tender. Add to broth heat to boil add tortellini cook 10 minutes until tortellini is tender. Serve garnish with parsley. (we found the tortellini soaks up a lot of the broth.. so if it is too thick just add more chicken broth!)

I'm still missing the primary ingredient, regardless of which one we're talking about! #-o
